Teaching Style

Music should be enjoyable, I love making and teaching music and I hope to help foster a life-long love of music in my students. My purpose is to help each student reach their potential and achieve personal goals. In a more concrete sense, in terms of flute instruction, I believe in emphasizing strong fundamentals of playing. It is my opinion, that if one develops a beautiful and flexible sound, proper fundamental posture and breathing, solid technique, and clear articulation, they can execute and express music freely and effectively.
